Exclusions configuration task doesn't work

I am trying to push out some exclusions to a client using the ESET remote administrator v3.0.105.

I have included many type of files to be excluded using wildcards(*.slc etc...)

I am creating a new task and using the configuration file I have created. The task completes successfully but when I check the config of the workstation in question the new exclusions have not been added.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
