I have licences of FD-ISR, Rollback RX 8 and 9.
My favorite one is FD-ISR workstation.

ps1. 'DeepFreeze' and 'Shadowuser' are not instant recovery applications.
ps2. Where are 'DriveClone Pro' (Farstone) and 'BackOnTrack Suite' (Roxio)?

Oops I've forgot to check option multiple choice in this poll :(

I am still testing Rollback softwares now i have EAZ-FIX (RB), which saved my bacon (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1481785&postcount=20) today :argh: :thumb:
So I'm starting to like it more and more :)
What a pitty that classic FD-ISR is unavailable on the market :( I read many positive reviews about this legendary product.

I have licenses for DeepFreeze (not using now), ShadowUser on one machine, First Defense PC REscue (not using now), Shadow Defender and ShadowProtect on my Vista machine which combined give me very versatile recovery possibilities. I also think that only FD ISR and ROllbackRX type of applications qualify as rollback software.

Thanks, i also have Shadow Defender and SP for backup images. However when i find SP very useful, I can't say the same about SD - I don't use them since several month.

Those who had licences from other vendors, such as Raxco, migrated to a single licence provided by Leapfrog Software, and although they can't offer support per se, updates to the program are provided every so often for these users, myself included.

Although strictly speaking not rollback software, for day-to-day use I rely on Returnil Virtual System 2008 Premium Edition to return my system to a known state on reboot. For disaster recovery, or to restore the system to a specific point in time, I use Acronis True Image Home 11.

I think the Windows bulit-in rollback function is enough :)

No it isn't. It can't restore Windows at the boot level. If Windows fails to start up - you're hosed. With Rollback RX you can recover from a crash by going back in time to a state Windows last worked well. Its lot better than having to figure out how to repair a broken Windows and if that fails, a clean re-install of Windows can take hours.

Is it true that EAZ-FIX and Rollback Rx are actually the same product just labeled differently? :doubt:

Which one of the two would you recommend and why?

I had a really terrible experience with Eaz-Fix 9, it completely trashed my system so I had to reinstall windows. Now I use imaging sofware, acronis on one computer and shadowprotect on the other.
