Hotmal and Outlook Express

I got email today from Windows Live Hotmail Team stating that users of Outlook Express, which I use, must download Windows Live Mail to receive Hotmail through Outlook Express.

I suspect that it is legitimate, but don't want to click on a download until I know for sure.
Anybody else receive this notification?

The new system will be easier. POP3 for me.
