Can Eset ban keys? It's a shame what i saw on a website

I've seen quite a few sites like that.
some keys are reportedly used for a long time.

yes, ESET can ban keys! Send links like that to legal@eset.com and they get fixed.

I always wondered how they get such keys? After all, it is required an username and password, which are generated by Eset, right?

Unless, I'm mistaken about that, then the only way for them to get them, is to get them from people who don't even have any idea about it, as in hacked? Or do they generated them? I've always been intrigued about it.

If so, and if such usernames and passwords become banned, then will these users be provided new ones? If they keep getting hacked all over again, since they have no idea they're being hacked, then will they always be requesting for new usernames and passwords?

What's the scene behind the stage?

In that case, its a "flaw" in how Eset provides their trials. But, I guess Eset can't forbid people from having multiple e-mail accounts.

But, in case of people, unknowingly, being hacked and getting their username and password stolen, that's worrying.

Maybe those username and passwords (which people paid for) should be generated from within the machine, after inserting a key, provided by Eset, and the generated username and password should only be possible to use by that machine (user) and no one else.

Otherwise, its unfair to those users, if what happens is that they see their usernames and passwords become invalid.

Perhaps both things . I have seen quite a lot such leaked UN/PW and when they have been checked most seemed to be leaked NFRs / trials but recently I have had a case where a license of real ESS user appeared in such warez site . Of course , ESET have blocked it and his license was banned (to prevent further misuse) . His computer was infected multiple times and because I know him , I suspect that somehow a malware had stolen information from his computer . Furthermore , there are people who are so arrogant to say that they are proude be part of warez communities , who do nothing else but update warez sites/torrents , etc.

As siljaline says , they are so much and are completely out of control .

Well, I had similar case when Corporate license leaked out, but in correspondence with local ESET dealers, I was met only with arrogant presumption that it was leaked/misused intentionally ::) so that we should simply buy new license just like that :-X
Obviously customers who become victims of license stealing have no protection/understanding from ESET. In this particular case, this is quite old customer of ESET for more than five-six years with no previous cases of misuse.

Everyday i get more proof that Eset "cares" too much about customers. So sad :thumbd:
