Would like to revive this subject that popped up here in January 2009 but apparently no solution was provided.

I would like to be able to avoid the start-up virus scan of Word or Excel, triggered automatically by these Office program because I have installed add-ins for them. In the past, I avoided such scan via the Office plugin for the Norton AV, or running avgoff2k.dll via regsvr32.exe for the Grisoft AVG. does my Nod32 (version 4.0.437.0, fully paid and registered) also have a way to avoid this Office start-up scan? (If not, could the Eset people who monitor this forum please consider keeping up with the competition and add an option to turn on/off such scan in, say, the "document protection" section of the advanced options?)

TIA.
