why comodo internet security has no web shield and mail shield.....?

not a bad decision in my book as neither are required and are just duplication of what the real monitoring does anyway.

It's their philosophy that they are repetitive. Personally, I keep on AntiVir's Web Guard even with a bit of slowdown. I'd rather scan HTTP traffic, and it has the bad link scanner (phishing, malware, etc.), too. But maybe Comodo in V4 will add other things that make up for no web scanner.

Come to think of it, yeah, avast!'s two guards for the web for example (if not the script-guard as well...) does one darn good job. :)

Off topic, but I will probably switch to Avast when V5 comes out. Any time frame on beta release?

I personally don't know, but it's possible RejZoR does.
