Hi, as you probably know eset and nod32 like to flag all ipoker software as malware. I want to know whats being done to correct the situation?
Is there smth actually in the poker client that compromised security like idk....are they spying on the players to see if they're using bots.....are they taking screenshots of the desktop (btw both of these practices were/are employed by famost poker rooms so it's not fud or paranoia).
If the ipoker client is safe if you get it from proper place then why hasnt this false positive been corrected by now?
Afaik the case was some ppl were using ipoker software to distribute malware or adware? I'm guessing they were rogues and not the poker rooms themselfs correct?
My last experience downloading ipoker client was bad to say the least. I couldnt download it, I think I had to disable AV completely, probably even the firewall because that thing patrols inwards too now....then after I installed it I turned everything back on and either immidietly or on the next scan it quaranteened some file from the ipoker folder....The client seemed to work fine after that although I think eset quaranteened the main .exe file lol....Not sure how thats possible but thats how I remember it. Any chance that was the malware? Btw I used eset security 3 then I think.
If the ipoker client is safe then why don't you work with them to find solution or stop flagging it. It's the 2 or 3rd largest poker network online so its time to resolve this long standing issue.
Also in the meantime pls suggest the safest way I can get/download and install ipoker clients with the least amount of security compromise. I use eset security 4. Thanks.
