Are you testing Windows 7 RC?

I'm using Windows 7 RC x64 and it works very well.
Applications like Office or games install in less time than Vista x64 in the same PC, games work ok, new interface is good..
The negative aspects I found are that WMP Bar was eliminated and that load time is almost same as Vista. Maybe I need a quicker hard disk.

As of now, I'm not testing W7 although I have spent time with it over the past several months, from Beta to RC.

What I know about Windows has already been stated;
loads faster than Vista (or XP for that matter) on my computer.
Runs faster than Vista, not as fast as XP.
Some of the features I find to be of very limited use, but I realize this OS wasn't designed for people like me who only want to surf, send/receive e-mail, audition software, and occasionally back-up a DVD.

The only reason I would run Windows 7 again is for a change of scenery; I see no compelling reason to abandon XP.

No. I have no need for W7, XP works just fine with my programs. XP will be my last and final Microsoft OS.

I would say using more than testing, since I moved to Windows 7 from Vista and I do not intend to go back, ever, even though it has some little bugs. :)

On my computer Windows 7 runs lighter and much faster than XP - for example boot time with installed XP was ~60 sec. With Windows 7 this time is equal ~22 sec! :o It is pretty fast, perhaps it is also because i changed my HD, on my previous HD it takes ~37 sec on Win 7. Of course all application needed was installed.

I've been using it as my primery OS on my HP laptop since the first beta

running build 7027 x86 now and it works very good

I tested it but removed it . Use mainly Windows Vista and Windows XP . I like Vista more than 7.

I Prefer Win 7 Ultimate RC to XP Home on my hardware.

Have tested it for a few weeks and like it, but returned to Vista x64. If the price is right, I may switch to 7 when it goes final. If not, I will stick with Vista.

Same here, I like it as it is lighter than Vista. I think XP enthusiasts are going to be disappointed if they expect something different from Vista. If the upgrade is available at a reasonable price, I'll definitely get it. I'm also keen to see how Vista will be affected by the next service pack.

I tested it since MS so graciously offered such a long trial time. I thought I might use it. It is after all new and shiny.
It was really nice looking and really fast and worked just fine (as did Vista for that matter) but it wasn't ubuntu :P (I am now officially a linux geek :) )

I installed a few of the BETAs on a test rig....quite impressed with it.

But I won't install it on my primary computers as my primary OS until the full version comes out. The BETA is not able to be "upgraded" to the fully released OS (to the best of my knowledge), so once the full version comes out, you'll have to do a clean install again. Which means re-install all your apps 'n get your settings back again.

With the BETA, don't forget, even though it ends next summer, starting this coming March you'll get the 2 hour nags.
