You can, but be sure you have a tried and true recovery plan, like a disk image before doing so.

These are you motherboard drivers.

First two are related to hard disk and last two are for the main board chipset.

I usually run my system with latest upgrades and fixes so I will recommend you to do the same.

Is there some reason you don't want to upgrade your motherboard drivers?

@mantra

From your comments I gathered you are asking general questions about them.

If these drivers are not recommended for your computer, you should not install them.

I have dell XPS M1530 laptop and intel matrix technology and accelerator came pre-installed and they are a recommended updates on dell page. I therefore installed them. I have not found any problems after installing them. As to benefits, well I have not exactly noticed any, but the whole point of switching to new drivers is if they provide benefit over your current drivers.

Why don't you first see what versions of these drivers you have on your computer. Then look at the new version and the change logs. If they have made some improvement that you need, go ahead and install the new driver.

You can also try them by making a system restore point before installing the new drivers and then evaluate them for a couple of days, if everything is fine keep them, if not restore your computer back

I have done tons of driver updates including sata raid drivers (i dont use raid) but still needs same driver for the controller. and has been fine.
i would still reccomend creating an image of C: before thou just incase.
