Building a Coreboot bios with xserver that runs inside a 2 megabyte BIOS flash memory. No harddrive needed.
6 seconds to Busybox and another 2 seconds for xvesa and matchbox.
8 seconds to boot and no HDD needed.

Wow. What's it compiled against? uClibc? I assume the X server is Xvesa?

Uses Buildrom to create the BIOS image, a tool similar to Rom-o-matic.
GCC, at least in the tutorials.

GCC = compiler, not C library. :)

I don't tut in Linux, sry. :-\ I am sure there is a distinction somewhere, but my windows is BSODing. Ltr.
