Looking for advice on XP Hardeners. If you use more than one, or "other" please give details. Thanks!

Currently Samurai, which combines hardening features with HIPS. I may wind up switching to SecureIt + HardenIt + Malware Defender, though, on the basis that masters of various trades are better than a jack of all of them.

I have enough experience to do it myself under registry, group and security policy. There is a lot of that can be tighten up. What you list looks good for those who don't know and to change settings in the registry.

I use WWDC.
Another similar program that I have used for years is XP AntiSpy.

Could we consider SRP (Software Restriction Policies) a system hardener?

None of above but have some experience in applying group policies and security templates to that effect. But I should probably study it more. Maybe one of the above could be an interim step or help me learn more.

I use xp-Antispy. Its latest version is 100% compatible with my Windows 7 Ultimate x86. PC Tools Registry Mechanic also tweaked my Windows Services and applied some performance registry tweaks as well.

I voted other. I tweak the XP pro directly, so I know exactly what was done.

SRP has my vote. It's what I use on two XP machines.
