The issue with advanced huristics!

I'm using NOD 32 antivirus v 4.0.314 and my system slows down quite a lot when I enable "advanced huristics" under "file-system protection". This slow-down is obvious when a software tries to access the active process list... I'm guessing this issue is a common knowledge here.

So, can any one tell me if this issue has been fixed in the latest version? If not when will it be fixed?

When you're enabling that option, you are warned that it may have signifficant impact on system performance. That's simply because advanced heuristics emulates the program code which is a time consuming operation. It's like if ones asks if they'll be able to simulate the weather or nuclear explosions when they upgrade to a newer version of Windows.

I'm sorry. I was under the impression that a 15 second delay(in some cases as opposed to 1 second delay without advanced huristics) was not an intended outcome of the software design... Or may be because my system is kind of old(my processor is pentium D).:-\

In the future there will be at least one improvement concerning a particular packer which will speed up scanning of certain files, but currently it'd make some threats undetected.
