I am new to DD Suite. I bought it because my "C" drive which has my XP OS on it is almost full. I have 1 80 GB Physical hard drive in my laptop. There are 2 partitions. "C" has the XP OS on it and "E" is for storage.
I used the "Increase Free Space Wizard" to take free space from the "E" drive and add it to the "C" drive but it gave me a message that DD couldn't do the operation.

What am I doing wrong?

Do you have a current backup image of the drive? It's always best to have a backup prior to making any partitioning changes.

Have you run chkdsk /f on both partitions to check for any errors?

Do you have any bad sectors on either partition? DD won't make changes to a partition with bad sectors.

Are you trying to do the procedure running DD in Windows or by booting to the DD CD? When making changes to the Windows partition, it's usually recommended to use the CD because those changes can't be done while Windows is running.
