Been using 4.0.424.0 (64bit) for a little while. And i am pleased or I am lucky ;) that everything is working fine for me.

Im still using NOD 32 antivirus v.4.0.314.... (32-bit)

I'm taking a back seat until NOD does something about the slow-down problems with the "advanced heuristic" in the "file-system protection"...

So far not so good for me. :-\

I've had two issues reported from 4.0 which was annoying..

1. Deadlock 100% cpu during logon and during production on file clustered service enabled servers in Windows 2008 Server

2. user reporting machine crawling which went away after disabling real time protection.. idk why same config as others who run fine and faster machine than my laptop I got right now.

I agree Hammer, much faster and a lot more stable. To me 424 is working flawlessly on 3 setups.

Zero probles here also. (XP Pro SP3, 32Mb, E6600 Core 2 Duo)
I use to have NOD v3 running together with Spy Sweeper both monitoring on real-time, now it's just NOD32v 4.0.424.0.
I stll do on demand scan from time to time with Spy Sweeper v6 (I have one more month left on my licence) and I don't find anything, not even cookies or adware. I will run and monitor my PC one more month with this setup (just with NOD32 v4) and if it behaves the same like right now, witch I like it, I wouldn't renew Spy Sweeper.
I'm looking also at Prevx Edge as a second layer. I've tried the free version and seems to be light and works well with NOD32. Right now I remove it from my system, I'm not sold yet, especially on the free version, witch shows you when you are getting infected, but doesn't stop it. There are lots of happy "voices" on Wilders posts, but for me a side by side comparison test with major security software will make me decide if I will add Prevx Edge to NOD32.

jedi_m PrevexHelp has reported that NOD 32 detects every new version of Prevex Edge as malware. I don't know if that issue has been laid to rest or not. If it has no problem then.

Yes The Hammer, thanks for reply. I've read about this issue. I'll watch for this cat-mouse game to get a permanent fix and after that I will try again Prevx Edge.
Right now NOD32 4.0.424.0 is the only "soldier" on my PC. So far so good.
