There are power strips I imagine you can control via internet or modem.

I ran across these links that use serial port:

This can ping your router & power cycle it, if needed.

2 of the links are open source. The first link is a widget and the second is an actual linux project.


Can anyone recommend any other software/product combinations they use to remotely power cycle or automate???????
