LastFM not working in Jaunty Final

LastFM is not working for me in Jaunty Final. It was working in Rhythmbox earlier but since Rhythmbox doesn't like my hardware, I got rid of it andinstalled Banshee. Now, neither the LastFM package in the repositories not the scrobbler in Banshee will work.

Have all the relevant codecs.

How would I troubleshoot this?

Last FM works here in Rhythmbox as well as Banshee so I guess its some sort of hardware specific issue. You can remove the included Banshee from the repos and get the latest one via ppa by adding deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/banshee-team/ubuntu intrepid jaunty to your source list in synaptic, this will update your Banshee to the latest build.
