so,
I have my netbook, with a 150 gig hard drive.
I have 4 partitions(1 physical drive):
127 Gig windows - ntfs
50 meg fat32 - OSS installed here
20 gig Linux - ext3
2 gig linux swap

I want to make a another partition to install another copy of XP. (I want to put my work's corp build on). I select create partition, and select the "C" drive (127 Gig XP drive), and every time, it tell me I don;t have enough free space to create another partition. WTF? there's 115 Gig free?

Are all the other partitions Primary partitions? You can only have four Primary partitions. Or, you can have less than four and any number of Logical partitions.

KingJehu,

In addition to MudCrab's reply, you don't have any unpartitioned free space. That's what you need to create a partition.

yeah, I have 4 Primary partitions. Thanks for the info.
I'm thinking about ditching the multi boot stuff and just going to strickly with Ubuntu on my eeepc.
