How can a forgotten password be recovered? I cannot turn protection off without my password.
Is it possible, or will I need to uninstall, then re-install the program?

Did you try just hitting enter at the password prompt? Perhaps you have password protection enabled but no password in effect. I ran into this some time ago and it was answered on the FAQ pages at their website.

I have a password configured, but don't remember doing so. I've tried clicking OK without typing a password many times, but its invalid.

Thanks Coldmoon. A version of what you wrote worked for me, although I had to reinstall.

I to am having this problem.. except that my step son installed a few programs and DID NOT write the passwords down and has since forgotten passwords. ???
I have contacted tech support to see what I can do to rectify this situation.
Is there any way or back door way to turn this off without the password?
Now I have also found out he did put CyberPatrol on the computer and when I tried deleating it, of course it shuts down the computer and with Returnal it keeps some of the main program in the partitioned part and now I don't even has internet access, Cyber Patrol is now blocking all internet access... It is a good program I guess, doing what it is supposed to be doing but....
