Firefox Browser?

If I have an error updating Firefox browser at that time by automatically, would going to Check for Updates the same thing as going to the site and downloading to the new version? Would the bug get fixed by going to check for updates and updating it that way if there was an error when u were trying to do it by automatically?

The versions are the same. Either way you choose to install, firefox will detect a pre-installed configuration and append itself to it.

So, installing through automatic/check for updates is the same as downloading the installer and installing it manually.
