Adobe Acrobat Reader?

I need Adobe Acrobat to view some files, but, is Adobe Acrobat safe to install, and use? Also, I cant seem to get the full installer, just the ones where it network installs (Which I dont trust), any help on this

click on Get Reader...

This is avaiable FREE to read PDF files..

However, it costs a fair bit to get the full Acrobat Suite [Adobe Acrobar/Distiller [which makes PDF files].
