Hey Pete,

That type of error almost always means server-side work of some sort is being done. Either they've stopped the database for some maintenance, or are reconfiguring something that is preventing access temporarily.

I imagine they'll finish soon and it'll come right back up.

It also indicates that the DB paths may have been lost from the board's config file, which would require appropriate editing to restore.

It has been an Invision board software issue as far as I know - and as it seems they sort of rip off "freeware" users demanding money for solving issues. Countless software users complaining about this move - and as far as I'm concerned: rightly so.

Anyway: NI has shelled out the money and are up and running again. That's what counts in the end 8).
