View Full Version : OSS Selector Loading ...

I have been running the Acronis OS Selector from the Disk Director Suite for about a month now. I have 2 separate hard drives - one has XP Home and the other is running XP Pro. This morning when I turned the computer on it displayed "Loading Acronis OS Selector, Hit Esc for menu or Hit F6 to skip menu..." but it just stops at this point and does not proceed any further.

Any ideas what may be causing this or what I can do to fix it?

Thanks

When I had this problem I booted up the rescue media and entered the OSS section and changed the time out to "Zero" and it finally allowed the OSS to work correctly. Hope this helps.

Hello jazzbrew and cortez,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0 (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector/)

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

This issue can be resolved by fixing MBR from your Windows CD and then re-activating Acronis OS Selector. For some reason OS Selector configuration has been corrupted.

Please check this (http://www.acronis.com/support/kb/articles/107/index.html) article for the detailed information.

Thank you.
