Hi,
I'm browsing the forums to resolve an issue and I see the sticky thread that a new version of ESET Security Suite Smart Security v4.0.417.0 has been released. When I look through the ESET SS menus on my PC I can only find the option to update the virus databases but no option to check for updates to the software.
Does this mean I have to manually update the software? I'm concerned because v. 4.0.417.0 "Added detection for Win32/Conficker worm in firewall", which would have been nice to have the last few weeks! What about people who don't have a need to browse the forum, they can run for a long time with on older version. Am I missing something on getting ESET SS to update the software (not the virus database) automatically, or at least notify me there is an update?
I'm currently running v.4.0.314.0.
