Is using firewall enough to secure my wireless network?

I currently use Comodo firewall with up-to-date antivirus software.
Having said that, will using software firewall alone protect me from unauthorized access and secure my wireless network?
Also, is it neccessary to use hardware firewall with software firewall?
What may be some of the advantages of using both hardware firewall and sofware firewall?

One of the most important things to do with a wireless connection is turn ON encryption. This feature is in the device that contains the wireless radio - your broadband modem or router - and by default is OFF. It needs to be turned ON and configured.

Assuming you are using a wireless router, wpa or wpa2 (preferred) encryption with a strong pass phrase is sufficient. You could take a look at this thread (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=176193) for lots of ideas and debates. Comodo, btw, will secure your computer, not the wireless network; that's why enabling the security settings in your router is necessary.

The software firewall on your computer is absolutely not related to the security of your wireless network. No relevance.

As mentioned above..the security of your wireless network depends on you logging into your wireless router/ap, enabling security (WPA or WPA2), entering a decent key, as well as changing your router/APs default web admin password.

WPA2/AES passcode is needed on the wireless hardware router and software on wireless utility program for your wireless driver is better than the wireless connection service from Microsoft. All the software firewall is going to do for you is to protect the system from in/out programs that report back to the maker and ports that need to be triggered or not.

you may have diffrent router but it will give you and idea

if you have Access Control type option please turn it on as well please

it will make your MAC address only allowed to connect to wirelessly with your router,
