Create Virtual Partition Path Question

I plan to give Returnil Premium a try soon. I read in the manual that the default path for the Virtual Partition is:

C:\RETURNIL\RVSYSTEM.IMG

On the Configuration Section of Page 23 it says something about if you have another drive partition that it is recommended to put the Virtual Partition there. What is the reason for this recommendation?

If I wanted to put the Virtual Partition on D: partition, would I change the default path to:

D:\RETURNIL\RVSYSTEM.IMG

The main reason is to reduce the number of changes to the real system partition and to nudge the user into creating a more secure setup.
