window update = shutdown firewall

don't know what happened but ESET said I needed a windows update did so & after reboot I cannot get the firewall to turn back on, I have played with this for a couple hours I'll have to try to drop back to v3 till I see an update I cannot be troubled with this...

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled ESET Smart Security V4?
