I searched a bit for the answer but didn't see anything. I have a 1 year license for this, and I was wondering if it's any good. Oh and let me ask this, I have a BitDefender total security 2009 2-year license also. Between these two, which one is the best against viruses? Thanks for any help.

I think you should try it for yourself and decide . The question you are asking might close this discussion pretty soon as it is not allowed "which is best" here at wilders. but i might be wrong. I would not use either because i had problems with both.

Thanks Gery, yeah i might have worded my question wrong, because really what I wanted to ask is has there been any independent tests on which one was the best at stopping malware. I searched the internet and couldn't find a thing on Trend Micro. BD is another story.

If AV-Test.org is anything to go by, BD is slightly better:

But TM uses a kind-of-cloud computing technology so it may well bridge the gap.

The whole in the cloud mumbo jumbo is totally overrated and overhyped imo...

I thought it was pretty good at its job, to say the most.

Honestly guys it is not that terrible although i wouldn't say it is among the best. It is improved with the 2009 version but it is still heavy . It is a good choice but there are better ones

In my mind,if that's not any other choice,I will choose BD...
Cause the detection,and,the protection...
