If u have a chance to make or build your own Security Suite from acquiring tech from other vendors and incorporating it to your own Security Suite.. What would your Security Suite Setup would be?

This is a "What If" thread.. All possibilities are limited to your own imagination..

Format:

Anti-Virus Engine: Avira AntiVir = I choose Avira because of their very High Detection rate..
Anti-Spyware Engine: Spyware-Doctor = With its very thorough cleaning of Registry entries leave behind by malwares..
HIPS: ThreatFire or Mamutu = Best HIPS programs for me..
Firewall: Comodo Firewall = Most recommended Firewall..
GUI: Kaspersky IS 2009 or Norton IS 2009 GUI like would be great
Anti-Spam: SPAMFighter = Best Community based Anti-Spam for me..
Parental-Controls: Net Nanny = Havent tried many Parental Controls but i like this one..
Identity Theft: Norton Identity Safe by Norton IS 2009 or RoboForm
Anti-Phising: McAfee SiteAdvisor or AVG LinkScanner
Help and Support: Symantec One Click Help/Support = Totaly Free on easy problems but if u have hard problems then u have to pay..
In the Cloud Tech: McAfee Artemis or Norton InSight = Find it very effective in some point..

Name: RazorBurn Ultimate PC Security Suite 2k10

You can add more categories if I miss any important feature of a security suite..

Hope this wont have a very high System Requirement..

Before posting your Security Setup kindly rate first the last previous post..

You might also want to re-address your HIPS section.
Those two programs aren't HIPS packages at all, they are behaviour blockers.

EQSecure, D+ or Online Armor for example.

Not really "Ultimate" security suite, but this is still what I'm always using right now as layered defense:

IS: NIS2009

BB and similar: ThreatFire and Prevx EDGE

Vulnerability protection: Secunia PSI and XP-AntiSpy (Where XP-AntiSpy does other general things as well.)

Immunization: SpywareBlaster with AutoUpdate license. (For now... won't renew again till Opera support is added, and since it isn't that often updated. Just adds a process in the background with no updates to download most of the time, and probably not immunization to re-apply either.)

On-demand: Programs like MBAM, SAS, Dr. Web CureIT! and so on as needed.

Web Browser: Opera

1. Configuration in LUA + SRP
Acronis
OpenDNS
Opera (with Javascript disabled) or FF (+ WOT + NoScript + Adblock Plus)
Comodo Internet Security, AV included
PrevxEdge
SandboxIE
Malwarebytes
Superantispyware

2. Configuration in Admin account
Acronis
OpenDNS
Opera or FF (same as first)
Antivir
Geswall or DefenseWall
Comodo firewall + Hips
PrevxEdge
Malwarebytes
Superantispyware

in admin account i prefear policy based hips and a more solid av (antivir), while in LUA with SRP, CIS and SandboxIE are enough imho:D
Both config are fast, in particular the LUA's one, without forgetting security.

Anti-Virus Engine: Avira v9 (v9 is much improved and i love it)
Anti-Spyware Engine: SUPERAntiSpyware (very effective AM)
HIPS/BB: DriveSentry (easy to use + strong protection, one of my fav's)
Firewall: Windows Vista FW (it does everything i need)
GUI: KIS 2009 or Vipre (KIS looks pleasing on the eyes and is nice to navigate, same with Vipre, always liked Vipre's/Counterspy's GUI)
Anti-Spam: N/A
Parental-Controls: N/A
Identity Theft: N/A
Anti-Phising: BrowserDefender (my fav site rating tool)
Help and Support: Symantec One Click Help/Support (last time i used Norton, maybe 2006 but i did like their little web page with info on removal of virus if its found) or the Avira Forums have always been good.
In the Cloud Tech: Prevx Edge's in-cloud tech (seems pretty effective in my own experiences and i trust it more than any other vendors similar offerings)
Back-Up: Rollback Rx (never failed me yet, and probably one of my most important utilities)
SandBox: Sandboxie (does its job better than any other product similar to it that ive used and is constantly updated, very nice program)

i believe these combined would make an effective and pretty light security suite that would be ideal for my wants and needs. :)

Anti virus Engine= Avira
anti-spyware=counterspy
BB= threatfire (really rather have Cyberhawk)
Firewall=online armor
GUI=Avira 8 is pretty clear to me.
Help=Avast! forums.
back-up=Maricum Reflect (don't know how good it is,but is the only one I have used, and works well)

And as I am now a convert to sandboxing,Sandboxie/Returnil.
Then you get into "I wish Avira's webshield was as light as Avast's.",
and all of that.
So one can go on building the "ultimate,last-word,will never change a thing"
dream suite forever!

Same here - NIS has for two years protected me perfectly so theres no need for anything else..
But with other products in mind, I would choose my sig - Outpost does a perfect job too.

I don't know exactly how to categorize what I currently use but here it is:
Drive sentry
PCTools Firewall Plus
Win Patrol Plus
Avira Antivir as an on-demand a/v scanner.

This setup had less overlap before I discovered Drive Sentry.;)

Well um...

I personally like Dr Web Cure IT! (pretty godly)

I was considering either Nod Smart Security, Avira, KIS2009, or VIPRE. I liked Nod32, i mean its an incredible small footprint, light on resources, but in my opinion i thought the detection rates were kinda lame. Don't get me wrong though, its a very good program.

So heres what I consider a pretty good security suite:
-Security Suite: Vipre/KIS 2009/ESS/Avira. In my opinion and experience you should choose only one of these suites. Why not norton you say? I've had a terrible experience with them, and yes, I know the new 2009 norton suite has incredible changes but I refuse to buy their product. Simple as that.
-Offline Scanners: Dr Web Cure It, SuperAntispyware, Malwarebytes
-Firewall: Kaspersky Firewall (
-Proactive Protection: Spybot S&D Immunize Feature, SpywareBlaster, Spywareguard, thats about all i use...:P

ye and i do to, but the topic was to try and create a security suite, and ive never seen a security suite that would contain a browser, so it just doesnt seem to fit into this topic IMO, but its not really a big deal, just felt id point it out.
