does that mean SAS finally has some sort of proactive protection instead of just generic signature detection? any more details on it?

not sure, they havent said anything official about it yet, only way to know is try yourself i suppose.

I have 2-3 times over the last few months. I am not installing it again until I know for sure.

how is the real time shield?is it strong againts zero day malware?i got my wife malwarebytes pro it is cool program and people in their forum are friendly,the program looks active,i want to know if superantispyware is same?thanks;)

Personally i find MBAM's support to be better, faster n friendlier.\

As for zero day detection, use a HIPS but ofc they both do have generic detection(Heur), ive only seen SAS in action - never looked at what MBAM detect but i do think SAS has the advantage but still what i just said it isnt gospel so :)

I've ran both MBM and SAS and only MBM finds stuff but more are FPs. PrevX I ran that against these two. PrevX always spots the same 2 files. Crazy. I ran a script base off the PreVx own report of these too threats but they below to a game program. So that comes up FPs.

MBM detected on reg - but that's Fps and kmon.dll which goes with Rising so that's another FPs.

SAS - reports all clear

PrevX - reports mqsv32.exe and p2svcres.dll are threats and 2 reg entries that are for mqsv32.exe This process not easy to kills and it's very annoying should be a disable function for it.. But none I see..

ran a script for combofix/killbot and it comes up clean.. It's weird.. On the PrevX site they got kmon.dll as unkwnown for Rising..

Only Risings picked up combofix, killbox, sdfix none of the other did...
