I have the full Disk Director Suite.
I use True Image to clone my hard drive as my backup. I am thinking of encrypting one of the partitions using TrueCrypt software.
Does anyone know of any glitches or precautions?
If I leave the partition encrypted, will it also be encrypted on the clone?
Thanks

Umm, okay.. Are there any alternative encryption programs that DO work with True Image?? After purchasing the full suite, it would be a bit depressing to switch to another backup program that offers better feedback.
I haven't been able to find it but does Acronis offer an encryption program?
All I want is to be able to encrypt a partition and be sure that the encrypted partition will be copied and encrypted on the cloned drive. It would completely defeat the purpose of encryption to have a clone that is not protected..
Anybody..?

You might take a look at these threads:

I think the process is generally one which must be tried to see if it will work.
DD will copy a partition and I would think it should be able to copy an encrypted partition, but I have never tried it.
Do you currently have TrueCrypt so you can test it?
