This morning, something really odd started to happen.
I connect to the Internet, and I was going to check my email with Gmail, and I get the following message:
-{ Quote: "Error!
Unable to complete secure transaction
You tried to access the address https://mail.google.com/, which is currently unavailable. Please make sure that the Web address (URL) is correctly spelled and punctuated, then try reloading the page.
Secure connection: fatal error (42)
https://mail.google.com/
Invalid, or non-verifiable certificate.
Make sure your Internet connection is active and check whether other applications that rely on the same connection are working. " }-
I reloaded, same deal.
I, then, went to login to COMODO forum, but same deal. I can browse through their threads, but just can't login.
The same error message appears.
Then, I realized that Windows Defender icon was showing (I think was at the tray bar for a few days already, but I thought it was to for a full scan to be done), and I opened it. I updated it but get an error:0x80072f8f
I then tried to update via Windows Update, but get an error code 8024A000. I am looking for info about it, and what I can do to try to solve it.
The same happens (regarding Gmail and COMODO forum) with IE.
Could anyone say whether or not you're having the same problems?
Thanks.
P.S: I even switched HOSTS file, just to make sure it is clean. Same thing happens.
