Roboform Pro. Far more than just a password Manager.

For me that's RoboForm Pro and on my other laptop it's Password Depot.
I like them both. :)

I started to use KeePass, because IE still removes cookies, so I need to login at daily bases and it is safer to use random autotype than just copy/paste. :)

So did I but given that AFAIK it ceased to be developed a number of years ago I moved over to KeePass which is very similar (but IMHO better). Would recommend that you take a look especially as there is a plugin that allows you import PINs data straight into KeePass

"PINs Import
Plugin Author: Dominik Reichl, Plugin Language:

This plugin can import text files that were exported by the 'PINs' password manager. For detailed instructions on how to migrate (i.e. how you have to export your data from PINs and how to import it in KeePass) see the 'PINs 4.50 Import Plugin -> Help' menu, after you've installed the plugin."

Just in case you are interested! ;D

KeePass here.

I let SeaMonkey's built in password manager handle ones for forums, webmail, and everyday use sites. Passwords for financial sites and others of equal importance are enterred manually when needed. These I will not store on a PC.

Thanks, I've had Keepass installed for about 6 months now (still installed) and have done the import. I've been using PINs for years, it works and I am used to the interface. No problems with Keepass, I just can't pull myself aways from PINs. ;D

Ah, right, I understand. Yes, was aware of this but as it is v2 & a beta I have not ventureed forth into that territory...and do not think that I will until v2 replaces v1...but I cannot see why v2 would be called 'Pro' unless Dominik is planning to charge a license for it (and perhaps keep v1 as donationware. ???

Looks like the pro version can do a lot more http://keepass.info/compare.html

Don't like the idea of having to install Net Framework but looks like I will have to one day. Does anyone use the pro version to pay by credit card i.e to enter all required info with one click ?

It sure looks like it and I will be test installing it shortly to try it out but one problem I have is that the related version for WM5 is only at the alpha stage and as I like to have my information with me on my Axim (synchronised with XP) this is a limiting factor for me moving over to v2. :'(

LastPass is impressive. But I am having issues with it for IE w/ Vista. Not sure what the deal is but IE will not release memory when opening up new windows. After a while IE just stops responding.

There were not as many good ones when I started using it, but even with the other good ones now it seems to hold up well. Plus I have a whole lot of data in it that is secure and accessible so no reason to change. I use it often and keep copies in several places. :)
