Vista basic

Hi!

I will reinstall vista on my pc and I am thinking about installing only the basic version of it.

From what I saw, it is THE SAME EXACT vista, without games, aero and stuff like that.

But, is it the only differences? I mean, I want to have all the same security and core benefits of vista, but without all the stuff I don't need.

Is it a good idea?
