Can't get /sessionlock to work

Just tested here at work on XP SP3 machine.

If Returnil is not running at all, I have to run that line twice: once to bring up Returnil (green status icon appears in tray) then again to lock the session (icon turns red).

If Returnil is already running, with protection off, I only have to run the line once and the session is locked.

Whether having to run the line twice from a cold start is a bug or not, I couldn't say.

Returnil is made up of three major "components":

1) GUI = x32 executable that makes calls to the Kernel mode drivers
2) Protection driver
3) Virtual Partition driver

If you exit the GUI, the system protection and VP still work but mode changes cannot be made until/unless the GUI is active. I will however flag this to development to review the way RVS reacts to the command line...

Thanks for looking into it.

I wanted a way to cold start Returnil from a commandline with sessionlock on.

The reason for this is because I have a program that executes each program
in a list in succession with a delay between each startup.

I want to make sure that they load in that order.

It's no big deal though ... I adjusted my script to compensate for it.

Part of the script:

RUN, "C:\Program Files\Returnil\Returnil.exe"
SLEEP, 5000
RUN, "C:\Program Files\Returnil\Returnil.exe" /sessionlock
