Interesting article, didn't even know a tool was fashioned to prevent updates when all an XP user needs to do is disable the service PERIOD as mention in a paragraph from that page.

Some users (like myself lol) still hold reservations over these MS Updates for different reasons, like super customizations, and chiefly since there are so many well talented programmers, many turned vendors who can cover nearly any hole punched in any MS operating system as been proven for years now, many long time MS customers simply experienced enough positive proof that commercial software can far exceed even MS's own expectations when the rubber meets the road. LoL
