I have an old laptop, running win98se, a P150, with 80mb ram.
Which if any of the NOD versions will run on this machine without cripling it or mucking up the OS?
Does NOD offer an on demand dos scanner?
No I am not updating windows-all windows suck; se is the least suckiest I have found.
No I am not adding more ram, laptop is already maxed out.
Any replies which address the questions asked willl be appreciated, especially any urls to download of the appropriate (older?) version of nod. Obviously whatever version I run will have to accept any virsus def updates.
I don't expect a perfect scanner but I want something that will over at least moderate protection in an on demand mode. I don't need something to scan incoming email or web pages, already have protections against those.
