There was something unusual I noticed that appeared to last a whole week. It started between versions 3798, and lasted till NOD32 updated to version 3816.
I usually run a deep scan on a daily basis, almost immediately after the latest update, whenever I'm home. This usually lasts 35 minutes and a few seconds. Well, during the above mentioned period, the deep scans lasted only 25-26 minutes. Nothing was skipped, the files were simply scanned at a faster rate (the MSO cache archive file for example that was left untouched since the last time a new system was installed on my machine, usually took 6 minutes to be scanned, but last week, it only took 2 minutes).
Right now, it seems to be back to the way it was before, but I'm still curious about what caused this phenomenon.
