need help i cant update my spybot.

like i said i cant up date my spybot, when ever i hit up date the program just hangs there not doing any thing and then gives me and error.
dose any one now how to fix this?
oh and also be for this happend i let something through the spybot, but i asked it to remember what i have done, so dose any one know how to go back to that?

johnny3000, first, welcome to Wilders! Since there is a new 1.6.2 version of Spybot Search & Destroy (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/home/index.html) that came out today, perhaps it's best to remove the version you have now and install the newest one. That will take back to square one and probably solve your update problem.
