Think it's possible to create a browser plugin - since thats where most parasites come from?
Your browser would work in a virtual environment until you exit out - at which time, everything you did online would go poof! :blink:

I used to use Sandboxie for this and feel that Returnil is a better option as it protects the computer at a much deeper level. I have heard of folks using Sandboxie inside of Returnil as double protection but its probably a case of being over cautious. Still, it can not hurt to do so and I guess you can't be too careful.

Hmmm...I read just the opposite, although can't remember where. I wonder, insofar as browsing security is concerned, if one is better than the other??

Hi Doodler and welcome :)
The two are not mutually exclusive. SBIE is application level virtualization that provides more control over how the program you are using at that moment may or may not effect your system. Returnil, being system level virtualization, ensures that any changes that do happen are lost at restart.
Having RVS in the line-up gives you that last line of defense should those changes be unintentional, unwise, or malicious...
