Hello friends,

With Outpost I can block ads of for example 480 x 68. But, how I can block the load of flash archives (swf)?

best regards

Miguel

Miguel, you are going to get your best support for Outpost if you use the Outpost Forum.

Believe me, everybody is very friendly and helpful there.
To answer your question, I think I read somewhere that the ability to block flash will be implemented in a future version.

This has been on my "wanna try" list for awhile. Haven't gotten around to it..yet...though.

FlashSwitch is a utility to turn Macromedia ® Flash ™ playback on and off. Residing in the system tray of user's desktop, it enables or disables Flash content display as the user clicks the program's icon.

Looks nice. Wonder how much he's going to try to charge for 300k of code?

you've got my vote for the best solution! 8)

(never mind folks, it's merely admins sticking together ;D - but there is a point in the solution proposed..)

Yep, I have found that the best way to block flash in to uninstall it. If you need it again, you can easily download it and put it back.
