No confirmation from eset firewall

Hello

I'm running Eset smart security 3.0.669.0. I have setup personal firewall to interactive filtering mode and it works for some applications, but most applications are blocked without even asking me. I have to disable network traffic monitoring to use any of the software I need.

Any ideas?

yeah u need to set it to interactive mode.....which really be on by default and not the silent mode.

if its already on, you might like to clear all the rules and let it detect the programs again

You can also install the latest version of ESS 3.0.684 or ESS v4 beta which supports learning mode for automatic rule creation.
