• Japanese and French language support updated <-QUOTE}

{QUOTE-> Build 2.0.1.7067

Fixed:

• Correction added to address an incompatibility between RVS System Protection and Windows Vista Hibernation on some systems.

New:

• Custom Virtual Partition installation path – New in v2,01 is support for installing the RVS Virtual Partition on alternate partitions or drives. Please be cautious to ensure that if you configure RVS to mount your VP at Windows start you install the VP on a drive or partition that loads with Windows.
• Virtual Partition drive designation change support – RVS now supports changing the Virtual Partition drive letter from within the Preferences menu without requiring a reinstall of the VP through the repair feature.
• File Protection – This new feature will allow the user to selectively protect files and folders on alternate partitions. Further, the user can also specify the entire partition or drive (extra internal drive, USB drives, IEEE drives, etc).
• Returnil Tools:
{QUOTE->
o Anti-Execute – This new plug-in is not designed or intended to be a full featured HIPS (Host Intrusion Prevention System). That said however, the feature will allow added white/black list control over most executable and loaded drivers.
o Real System Autoruns – The new plug-in will allow an experienced user to view and edit auto-run entries in their registry while using the RVS System Protection and Session Lock feature. <-QUOTE}
• Real System Registry Editor – This is a new feature available from within the Real System Autoruns plug-in and allows the computer administrator to make changes to the computer’s registry while using the RVS System Protection and Session Lock feature.
• Right Click Delete[b] – This new feature adds an additional option to the right click shell integration that supports deletion of the selected file or folder from the Real System.
• [b]Disk Cache privacy wipe – the 2.01 series now supports cleaning of the disk cache at shutdown of your computer. For testing purposes, this feature will reset to its default configuration (deactivated) when your computer restarts. After sufficient proof of stability during the public testing, this feature will be upgraded to allow persistent configuration for the final betas/release.
• Right click Tray Icon and Toolbar control – This is a refinement to allow the user to activate or deactivate the Tray Icon and/or Toolbar through its right click menu.
• Custom language and Help Manual installation support – This new feature allows the user to create their own language and Help Manual and have them installed with RVS. Simply save your custom files in the same folder you save your RVS installation file. For the language file, rename it “default.ini” and for the manual, rename it “help.chm” without the quotes.
• User defined font support – This new option will allow the user to specify a non-default font for the RVS User Interface. To change the font, exit the RVS GUI and then open your currently selected language file. Now add a string with the following format (FONT_NAME = Tahoma) to the end of the file without using the Enter or Return key and then save the changes to the file. In this example, the font would be changed from the installation default to Tahoma.

Updated:

• Returnil User’s Manual (Help) – The User’s Manual has been updated for 2.01. <-QUOTE}
