How to delete ESET advertisement at ends of outgoing/incoming e-mail?

I'm pleased that ESET Smart Security checks my outgoing and incoming e-mail messages (2003 MS Outlook), BUT it's adding an advertisement at the end of each one, which I find annoying and UNprofessional.

Here's an example:

The message was checked by ESET Smart Security.
http://www.eset.com

I use my e-mail for business and am not happy that although I *paid* for my ESET license, this company is intruding into my correspondences. I have not received any monetary compensation to act as a public relations agent for ESET!!!

HOW do I permanently delete this advertisment for both outgoing and incoming e-mail?

The purpose of adding tag messages to email is to inform the recipient that the content of the email was checked with our pogram. The tag message contains information about the signature version used for scanning the email and a link to our website in case the recipient is not familiar with ESET and wants to find more information about the program. Those who don't wish to have this information included in outgoing email can disable this feature easily in the program setup.

It is a quite common thing to do by various antivirus products but Marcos: Couldn't the default setting be that it doesn't tag the mails and that you have to enable it if you wan't it?

I too find it quite anoying especially for business users. It doesn't look professional - more like a free AVG or the like.

to enable or disable?? what's the difference it's just a matter of ticking/unticking a box, if you wouldn't complain about something - someone else would - that's life......

The difference is that when you install NOD32 and have Outlook open it starts scaning the mails it adds the "advertisement" to the mails before you have the chance to disable it.

I don't like that it starts changing my mails without my active consent.

We'll check that out. I understand it's not desired behavior, but I haven't heard about this problem nor haven't run into it myself so far.

how ever you look at it both PRJUS and Marcos have a point

yes it can be seen as advertising but it also tells people that the email is safe and all the contents attached are safe as well

but at the same time, ess could ask right at the start (the very 1st time you ran outlook after installation of ess) if you want it to display that info....
