Grisoft have finally stopped definition updates as from 31.12.08 for Ewido 4.0 like they said they would. :'( Looks like its time to finally remove this program from my system.

grr... and my a2 free v3.5 updated to v4 without my knowing during a def update check.

Actually I installed A2 Free 4.0 as a replacement to Ewido. Normally there are 2 exe running with this program, but after a bit of tweaking I was able to disable the A2 Service completely [A2SERVICE.EXE], reboot and have it only run A2FREE.EXE, so keeping things minimal and truely on demand. Updates and scans no problem with the one exe. This works on XP but havent tried it on VISTA SP1.
