At first I would like to apologise in case I didn't post in the right forum.
Then, I would like to post my question. Can I get a virus while I am watching a Youtube video? Has any of you infected while you were watching a video?
Thank you in advance

Thank you for your reply. So, if someone hacks youtube, I might be infected. Has ESET ever noticed that YouTube has been hacked? Do they have in their virus signature databases malware that is found in youtube videos?

I am not an ESET employee and I can't answer this question

But I can't imagine anybody hacks sites that belong to such big companies - Google , Microsoft , etc. Google is one of the biggest companies in the whole world and the biggest/best known search engine . Youtube is one of the biggest , if not the biggest , free movie files service provider.

It was a few years ago but Guess WHO (http://news.cnet.com/2100-1001-247716.html) did get hacked.

Anything is possible.

I wasn't aware of this . Year 2000 ... I was still a kid ;D Thanks to the link!

... but still it is more likely to hack end-user or small company than Microsoft or Google.

You can visit adobe.com where you install it. The latest is v10.x something ;D Note if you're a firefox user you will need to install it on IE and firefox. As some programs use IE's flash. Firefox will download a file you install directly.
