Additional Info; before re-booting after Installing Look ‘n’ Stop, apply the recent Driver and ActivatedSoon Flag, this will save you bit of time… ;)

Hi PhantOm,
Regarding the latest "v3.02 T2 LNSFW1.sys": What about my old Win98SE system. Is there any advantage using the new driver on that machine? Isn't it true that the new driver is only for HyperThreading problems??
Thanks for help,
Thomas :)

Hey Thomas M
To be honest Frederic wasn’t specific over on http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=21967 regarding what Windows it applies too, I’m assuming Win2K/XP. I do know that there been some enhancements on the driver besides just Hyper-Threading fix, I wouldn’t recommend applying that driver on Win9x/ME until after Frederic verifies exactly what Windows this new HT driver applies too. ;)

The new driver applies only to Win2k/XP since it is a .sys.
Under Win9x-Me there is no issue regarding HT since this mode is not used on these system, and so there is no update plan for the lnsfw1.vxd driver.
