Hello,
when i login to fedora sometimes the network manager password box appears after i have logged in to gnome even thou ive already given the password.
if i click on confirm it will genrally then connect.
sometimes comes up twice and then works.
my router uses wpa/wpa2 encryption

the other odd thing is that if i press the show password button it seems to be the password I put in with some extra charactors. i will double check that tomorrow.

is anyone else having this problem?

if there anyway to avoid this problem?

sometimes it just randomly stops working and i cannot get it to connect again.

ps i had the same problem with ubuntu so im guessing the problem is the network manager.

is this likely to be fixed soon?

thanks in advance

Try replacing Network Manager with wicd (http://wicd.sourceforge.net/).
