Impossible update in NOD32 4.0

I recently downloaded the NOD32 4.0. For an unknown reason I cannot perform the Update. I tried several times without any result. There is the massage "Virus signature database could not be updated. General compiler error" What does it mean? Can somebody explain how resolve the problem?

Do you use an administrator account? What version of windows do u have? Giving more details can help to solve your problem.
