View Full Version : Comodo Boclean - Anyone Using This?

If I'm not mistaken Boclean was developed by someone, then later Comodo made a product called by the same name.

I remember about 8-10 years ago visiting this Boclean site, not sure if this is the company now:

As far as I can tell Comodo Boclean doesn't have much of a following...

Comodo didn't make product named like that, Comodo bought the whole outfit, including the main developer.

That's what I thought, just couldn't remember, been a long time since I thought about Boclean, but then privsoft.com still has a site and offers Boclean at a business level, so I don't get the thinking here...

IMO, I feel it may be past it's prime. For something that runs fairly quiet like BOC, I'd recommend ThreatFire (free) or Mamutu (paid).

At home, I use Comodo's Firewall Pro with Defense + and feel it provides much better protection than I ever had with BOC. But it does require more interaction with the user...
