will the free version also get the programme update via the updater or i need to reinstall?
So far i haven get the update via updater.

You need to call the updater from settings/options (not sure about exact name as I don't have SAS installed ATM), the 'normal' updater will only update databases :)
The one found within program settings/options will check for actual version updates to the program itself (when the update is published that is).

I always just right click the SAS icon in the system tray and then click "Check for Updates". It will update both the definitions and the program if updates are available.
You have to have SAS setup to show the icon in the sytem tray. I think it is defaulted to show it though. If not you can change it under the "General and Startup" tab of SAS.

It's not an only an update but an upgrade. Better than in the past when you needed an app to uninstall before upgrading.

if you dont mind having AS running in real-time then you cant beat the price of SAS Pro.

I started with the free version and during it's operation I got an offer to upgrade to a lifetime license for only $20. That's a great price if it's still available.

yes it is,you know how?download the pro trial or even the free version and then uninstall thats when you see a pop up for a 50%discount:thumb: cool8) got to take advantage of the situation:thumb: i dont like pop ups at all but this kind of pop ups must love them;D
